At the FSD – Central Agency, we work on the development, provision and validation of specifications for periodic technical inspections for all types of vehicles on behalf of the government. The specification information system (VIS), which we have developed for this purpose, together with the VIS.App software application and the PTI-Adapter (VIS.HUA), is used by around 18,000 PTI inspectors throughout Germany. At two locations – our headquarters in Dresden and our ultra-modern test laboratory in Radeberg – our employees work in various specialist areas, including programming, vehicle system analysis, software testing, design, quality management and administration.
