As an independent body, we develop test specifications for inspecting current and future vehicle systems on a statutory mandate and provide them for regular technical vehicle inspections in the form of periodic technical inspections (PTIs).

Founded in 2004 as Fahrzeugsystemdaten GmbH, we are a jointly venture of the German inspection organisations and ensure modern, high-quality and efficient vehicle inspections. Our modern test specifications and testing technologies are used by around 18,000 PTI inspectors every day.
